After our third edition of the "Monochrome" workshop, Bruno and I decided to start preparing a new workshop that he names "En Vogue". It will be a fashion workshop where I get to do both crazy poses and hang around pretending to be bored.
Here's a preview of what we will be working on during the workshop!

Ice Queen
When I came home from a hairdresser's assignment for William De Ridder, Gert O. Photo and I decided to use the last 20minutes of daylight to shoot a few portraits with grey/blue colored lenses I had be wanting to shoot for a few months already. A quick dive into the Christmas decorations and we had our look.

On Stage: William De Ridder for Paul Mitchel
Did another show for William De Ridder. I love being on stage, especially for William. Although you have to wait long before the actual show - which is completely normal - the atmosphere backstage is always good, styling is great and hair is styled into perfection. What more do you want?
Here are some backstage shots, waiting to get dressed and waiting to get on stage.

On Stage: Hair Style 2017
I was onstage again for William De Ridder for Paul Mitchel. William decided to show off the pink hairdo you could see in "Pink Love" on the big stage during a spectacular show in the De Ridder tradition.
Have look behind the scenes:
- Make up and freshly dyed, still wet hair:
- The final look with dresses designed by Nicky Vankets, right before going on stage:

On Stage: Pink Love
I have a new hair colour for the next 8 days! I'm one of the presentation models for the launch of the new POP XG collection by Paul Mitchell, with William De Ridder as spokesperson for the Belgian branch. This beautiful hairdo was designed and executed by William De Ridder, make up by Chris Del Anno.
I now have pink hair for Valentine 💕

On tour: Germany & Switzerland tour
Day 1: Neurenberg, Germany
Shot a set on location with Gert O Photo.
Day 2: Munich, Germany
I can share a few BOCs of my shoot with Akinari Yakomoto. We shot art nude, vintage lingerie and latex on location.
Second shoot of the day was with Armin Reinhardt. We started with a black and white beauty set and ended with blade-runner inspired portraits. So cool to do! I could play around with the tube lights and light myself with it.
Got the chance to shoot at this wonderful location with Donnerstern, an old villa in the center of Sankt Gallen, which will also be where I spend the night.
Day 4: Amriswil, Switzerland

Pastel Love
Last week I worked with RV Photography again. Haircut and colour was provided by William De Ridder and hairstyling and make up was done by Tina Calzetta. I'm wearing 2 outfits from my selfmade Candy Pop collection. So in love with these photos!

Dark beauty
I had a lovely shoot with Gunther Frans and Eline Van Gils a few weeks back. We worked on beauty portraits, but gave it a dark twist. My favorite kind <3
I got to make all kind of faces, which I love to do. It's so much fun to experiment with different expressions.

Elegant Curiosities
I was so proud that I was asked to model this beautiful headpiece from Elegant Curiosities. They create such incredible jewelry and accessories.
Photography and make up was by Paige Addams. I love working with her. She has a simular creative mindset; fashion with a dark touch. I'm wearing a wig that I bought in London. It's very close to my natural haircolour and the haircut I used to have. This shoot took me back to my goth roots as a model. ^^

This set was shot at my place, in my sewing room. The background is a simple fury plaid. Unbelievable what incredible things you can do, with so little. Especially with a photographer and styling this great <3

Octopus
I don't like seafood. I don't like the taste, I don't like the smell, I don't like how we're destroying our oceans to get seafood. So what a challenge it was to shoot with a real octopus! It was dead of course, once in a while they get caught up in the fishing nets and die. We had to cook it so it would stiffen up.
Then... they put it on my head. It felt cold, slimy and liquid kept dripping strait into my cleavage. It also kept shifting, so not easy to pose with. They tried pinning it to my head but that didn't really work. As a finishing then they put Avage Sirup on top of it, getting in my eyes, nose, mouth... It was disgusting!
You might not believe it, but I loved this shoot!

Workshop: Splashing Beauty
What a busy week! I have been shooting almost every day, with as highlight the Beauty workshop with Gunther Frans on saturday.
You just have to love them all. It's impossible to say which one is my favorite. They are all so different and still are were made within 6 hours. Make up is done by the lovely Stefanie Grootaers, who is very pregnant at the moment :)
A very important part of being (or trying to be) a successful freelance model is knowing how you profile yourself to the outworld. This can be what you post online or not, but also what others put online about you. For example, I google myself now and then, to see which images show up if someone would try to find me. And sometimes I discover new photos I had never seen before.

I love how my eyes turned green/grey in this one. It enhances the Nymph effect. I have brown/green eyes, sometimes more amber, sometimes more green, but never this light.
Well, luckily the water was warm! At first, we weren't convinced of the jewelry, but after the first shot, we saw how great it looked. I managed to keep my eyes open quite well, I surprised myself and the participants. It wasn't always easy though, because I was wearing lashes and they collapsed under the weight of the water. Also, I had some hairspray in my hair that ran down along with the water and it wasn't a nice feeling when that water reached my eyes... Nevertheless, the most fun theme I ever did!
We almost skipped this one due to time-shortage. It was planned as an extra if there was still enough time for one more. But I really wanted to do this. Not bad huh, for a back-up plan... :)
