Acting: Scum

I landed a part in the new Belgian movie "Scum" (or "Uitschot" in Dutch). It's the second movie from the Crimi Clowns series. You will have to wait for the premiere in October 2016 to know more about the story, but I can tell you that my character is badass!

Until then, enjoy these behind the scenes foto's and selfies.
First day on set:

This is how I look when I'm in make up. Very glamorous, right?

Adamant Amazones

Adamant Amazones is a project by Bart Ramakers about strong women. Red line through the series are vintage and rare cars. There will be a calendar and exhibition about this project.

Opening image of the calendar is an image shot during a previous shoot in a Tesla.

For the first set I was a stylish jewel thieve, wearing a long, black glitter dress. There was no image selected from this set for the calendar as only one image per type of car can be in the calendar. Bart chose an image from the second set for the Mercedes 190SL.

In the second set I was a spy, spending all her time in her car, listening for sensitive information. I'm wearing a wig by Insomnium Wigs.

See the video of the project here:

Lingerie and KittyCats =^.^=

Had a lovely day shooting with RV Photography. I'd like to share some of my personal favorites with you. :)

We started in the studio. Tina Calzetta did a wonderful job on hair and make up. I'm wearing garters of my own design. ^_^

Next we did a set with natural light. We kept being interrupted by this cute little bugger. Best duo partner ever, haha! <3 I'm wearing my favorite lacefront wig by Insomnium Wigs.

Bedroom set ♡

Last but not least a darker set on the stairs. I love how stairs allow more versatile poses. ^_^

Bubble chair adventures

I wanted to share about this shoot, because I got to do some really cool stuff on this shoot. There was an entire background change with each set. It's so nice when the photographer has a clear concept in mind, it's fun and challenging to work on a piece of art together, to find the best angle and best mood.

I have new leggings and a new amazing top by Pandora Deluxe Latex. I am so in love with my new outfit! I got the chance to shoot it already. I got to do some pretty amazing acrobatics  with it ^_^ The ball kept making this screeching sound every time I moved, so I was a bit scared that the whole thing would come down at a certain point. Luckily it didn't. I love posing like this, it's challenging and something completely new. I want my own ball now! <3 It's my birthday in a few months ;)

Linda Friesen Couture

New beautiful, dreamy set for designer Linda Friesen Couture, shot by Meredith Thorina Juliana, featuring some beautiful wigs by Insomnium Wigs. I love this set!

It was shot in a park and a lot of people just walked up to us to stare while we were working. You can't see it in the photos, because we had to wait until people moved out of the way again. I find it always weird to model for photography in front of an audience. Not that they bother me, I can easily keep my focus, but I always hate it when bystanders try to sneek some phone shots of me. I find that truly rude and disrespectful! If people would simply ask, I would happily let them take a few shots - if the photographer agrees of course. Luckily, we also got some really nice comments from bystanders, that made up for all the negative things ^_^

If you think bystanders can cause problems whilst shooting, try changing into your next outfit with that same audience. I am the queen of sneek changes! No one noticed! :D

Workshop: Splashing Beauty

What a busy week! I have been shooting almost every day, with as highlight the Beauty workshop with Gunther Frans on saturday.

You just have to love them all. It's impossible to say which one is my favorite. They are all so different and still are were made within 6 hours. Make up is done by the lovely Stefanie Grootaers, who is very pregnant at the moment :)

I love how my eyes turned green/grey in this one. It enhances the Nymph effect. I have brown/green eyes, sometimes more amber, sometimes more green, but never this light.

Well, luckily the water was warm! At first, we weren't convinced of the jewelry, but after the first shot, we saw how great it looked. I managed to keep my eyes open quite well, I surprised myself and the participants. It wasn't always easy though, because I was wearing lashes and they collapsed under the weight of the water. Also, I had some hairspray in my hair that ran down along with the water and it wasn't a nice feeling when that water reached my eyes... Nevertheless, the most fun theme I ever did!

We almost skipped this one due to time-shortage. It was planned as an extra if there was still enough time for one more. But I really wanted to do this. Not bad huh, for a back-up plan... :)

A very important part of being (or trying to be) a successful freelance model is knowing how you profile yourself to the outworld. This can be what you post online or not, but also what others put online about you. For example, I google myself now and then, to see which images show up if someone would try to find me. And sometimes I discover new photos I had never seen before.
