Ice Queen

When I came home from a hairdresser's assignment for William De Ridder, Gert O. Photo and I decided to use the last 20minutes of daylight to shoot a few portraits with grey/blue colored lenses I had be wanting to shoot for a few months already. A quick dive into the Christmas decorations and we had our look.

On tour: Germany & Switzerland tour

Day 1: Neurenberg, Germany

Shot a set on location with Gert O Photo.

Day 2: Munich, Germany

I can share a few BOCs of my shoot with Akinari Yakomoto. We shot art nude, vintage lingerie and latex on location.

Second shoot of the day was with Armin Reinhardt. We started with a black and white beauty set and ended with blade-runner inspired portraits. So cool to do! I could play around with the tube lights and light myself with it.

Day 3: Sankt Gallen, Swittzerland

Got the chance to shoot at this wonderful location with Donnerstern, an old villa in the center of Sankt Gallen, which will also be where I spend the night.

Day 4: Amriswil, Switzerland

Next up was Bruno Birkhoffer, who has been on my "want to shoot with" list for a few years. We shot portraits, art nude, a commercial set for Filanea jewelry and fashion. It was so nice to work with him. He is very nice and professional and had all these great ideas! I loved shooting in the hammock as well, it was definitely challenging and probably not very elegant in between poses, but really amazing what you can do with something so simple. It created opportunity to try out new and crazy poses, things that are impossible when posing while standing. I love how it turned out!

Workshop: Decay

A few weeks back, I modelled for the "DECAY" workshop by Gunther Frans in Liège. We were shooting in an old, abandoned fort. The location was perfect, but the weather was terrible. It was cloudy and very cold (4°C). I had to get warm again between every set. Nevertheless I had a blast!

We did a steampunk set first. I was a bit reluctant at first, because I had seen so many beautiful steampunk outfits and I thought mine would never be as beautiful. So I tried to give it more of a fashion vibe. I'm pleased with the result.

The last set was a set with a big dress and lots of baby powder. We made the dresses then and there with big cloths and a corset. We had 3 people throwing baby powder from the top to create a dreamy fog (I smelled like baby for a week) It was terribly cold, but it was all worth it! The result looks stunning!

Publication: Into the woods

A few months back I had a shoot with my two wolves for Noire. Last week they got published in Guiseppina Magazine. Buy your copy here. :)

I had a fun day with Kirsten Thys van den Audenaerde and Sandrine Coutelier, although posing with animals is not easy. The dogs got bored of just sitting around, while people were making clicking sounds and calling their name so they would look up. Dog treats were no help, because it just made them obsessed with finding the cookies.

Here are a few of the tearsheets:

Elegant Curiosities

I was so proud that I was asked to model this beautiful headpiece from Elegant Curiosities. They create such incredible jewelry and accessories.

Photography and make up was by Paige Addams. I love working with her. She has a simular creative mindset; fashion with a dark touch. I'm wearing a wig that I bought in London. It's very close to my natural haircolour and the haircut I used to have. This shoot took me back to my goth roots as a model. ^^

This set was shot at my place, in my sewing room. The background is a simple fury plaid. Unbelievable what incredible things you can do, with so little. Especially with a photographer and styling this great <3

Publication: Wicked Queen

Publication time! :)

A few months back we worked on a new editorial series for Kirameki Mag. It was a long day of set building, shooting and set cleaning, but is was totally worth it!

Me and Kirsten went to the Boutique Minuit shop in Brussels the weekend before to pick out and fit the styling. It's a very nice shop where you can find everything from sensual lingerie up to fetish outfits and accessories. I almost ended up buying all their shoes!

The next weekend it was shooting time! The 'Black Amethyst' wig by Insomnium Wigs arrived right on time by mail. We started early to build the set, which turned out exactly the way I had imagined it. Including cranberry juice in a vintage-looking bottle, small animal bones and dried flowers. Getting make up done wasn't an easy job because we were still out in the forest, but MUA Djenien did a wonderful job.

Can you imagine a girl running around the forest in 7inch heels, trying to look wicked and queen-like? Well, I can promise you it's a good work out for your leg muscles, because you simply can't relax without sinking your heels all the way in the ground.
